Job Description

Consult is seeking a highly skilled Multifaceted Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance of all mechanical equipment on site, adhering to UK and company regulations, biosecurity, and GMP standards.
  • Conduct effective preventative maintenance of process, utility, and facility equipment and systems that provide essential services for site production and building functions.
  • Identify and implement improvements in mechanical systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain a safe and reliable site environment.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of all mechanical equipment on site and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Recognized training to City & Guilds standard or NVQ Level 3 in engineering.
  • Demonstratable experience in mechanical installation and fault finding.
  • Experience of working with steam plant and an understanding of pressure systems regulations.
  • Ability to work without supervision and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and able to work on a 24/7 on-call rota.

We offer a competitive salary, 5% bonus, £400 on-call bonus (1 in 9 weeks), overtime, and Monday to Friday day shifts. If you are a skilled tradesperson looking for a challenging and rewarding role, please apply.
