Fabric Maintenance Specialist

As a Fabric Engineer with BJF Group, you will play a key role in supporting the FM division by performing various fabric-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to reactive calls and carrying out first fix where possible to minimize downtime.
  • Completing planned building and fabric maintenance tasks as per program and maintaining accurate records of works planned and completed.
  • Undertaking small to large fabric repairs and upgrades to existing buildings both internally and externally.
  • Covering a wide range of tasks including masonry, carpentry, ironmongery, roof repairs, and kitchen fitting.
  • Scoping task and material requirements to achieve the required results.
  • Maintaining the site in a good decorative order, both internally and externally, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Working within all relevant Health and Safety criteria and processes.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • IPAF
  • MEWP
  • BM Trada / Fire Door Experience
  • Kitchen Fitting Experience
  • Plastering ability
  • Masonry training
  • Locksmith Training
