We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Transformation Lead, Process Excellence to join our team at Checkout.com.

As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving financial efficiency and excellence across our business. Your primary responsibility will be to own the end-to-end execution of our Financial Infrastructure roadmap for your workstreams.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess a deep understanding of accounting processes and identify future-state solutions to be prioritized and implemented. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to clearly articulate finance requirements, gaps, and inefficiencies through discovery discussions.

Your expertise will be invaluable in defining and documenting future-state requirements alongside product teams, ensuring alignment with accounting policies and best practices on controls. Throughout the development phase, you will provide feedback and iterate in a fast and agile manner.

You will lead the efforts on test and adoption for any new implementation, ensuring the impact on business-as-usual operations is adequately understood and communicated to stakeholders. As the day-to-day point of contact, you will ensure a granular-level project plan exists for your workstream and tracked via our PMO.

In cases where conflicting priorities arise, you will undertake a risk-based impact assessment and apply clear exception acceptance criteria.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to bring their expertise to a complex and dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive financial transformation and process excellence.

We require candidates with:

  • A professional finance qualification such as ACA or equivalent
  • 4+ years post-qualification experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in finance systems transformation
  • A proven track record of working on complex cross-functional technology transformation and implementation projects
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced agile transformation projects ideally within a listed environment of a global financial services or payments/fintech organization

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities, as well as a proven track record of dealing with multiple stakeholders and employing varying engagement and communication styles.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £90,000 per annum, based on location and experience. This figure is reflective of the market rate for a senior finance professional with a similar skill set and level of experience.
