We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the premises, including floors, walls, and surfaces
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions
  • Empty bins and recycling containers, and ensure they are replaced with new liners
  • Dust and sanitize surfaces, including furniture and equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with customers and managers, while complying with Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time
  • Reliability and self-motivation
  • Keen eye for detail
