We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Autism Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner primary schools in Leeds. With a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs.
About the RoleAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students with complex needs. This includes assisting with lesson planning, preparing resources, and supervising individual or small groups of pupils during teacher-led learning activities.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the planning and delivery of lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN
- Preparing materials and equipment required for lessons
- Supervising students during learning activities and adapting instructions as needed
- Assisting students to develop their independence and self-esteem
