Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop mechanical systems, including ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
  2. Collaborate with electrical design members to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Conduct calculations to prove design and ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
  4. Manage personnel design workloads and provide completed works to the project lead for QA.
  5. Participate in design verification processes and self-check work prior to issuing for QA.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current building regulations, CIBSE documentation, and other general design guides associated with the building services industry.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of current building regulations, CIBSE documentation, and British standards. They will also be IT literate and have working knowledge of office and design experience in CAD and/or Revit.
