Gastroenterology Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Gastroenterology Consultant to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior member of our department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based care for patients in a multidisciplinary setting, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients, including administrative duties associated with patient care.
- Lead a multi-professional team, promoting effective communication and collaboration to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and lead subspecialty interests, contributing to the growth and development of our department.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions, ensuring that patient care is coordinated and effective.
- Fully registered with the GMC and holding a CCT (or equivalent) in Gastroenterology.
- MRCP (UK)/MRCP (Gastroenterology) or equivalent qualification.
- Expertise in the full range of gastrointestinal conditions, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to lead a team and take full responsibility for clinical care, with a flexible approach to work organization.
- Demonstrable experience of audit and management, with a strong understanding of quality improvement initiatives.
