Esland is seeking a dedicated residential support worker to join our team. As a residential support worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies.
- Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to the cleaning rota system and encouraging young people to participate as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, with supervision and guidance from shift managers and senior staff.
- Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent (desirable).
- Experience working in a children's home setting (desirable).
- A passion for supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Flexibility to work a range of shift patterns, including sleep-ins.
- A full UK driving license (essential).
- Ability to meet the physical and emotional demands of the role.
