Catering Assistant Role
St John's College School is seeking dedicated individuals to join our catering team as a Catering Assistant. This part-time position involves supporting the daily duties of the kitchen, including preparing the dining hall for service, clearing up and cleaning during and after service, and assisting with inventory management.

About the Role
This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing excellent customer service. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up and clearing up for special events, helping with housekeeping duties, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and catering areas.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the dining hall for service and clear up during and after service
- Assist with inventory management, stock checking, receiving and unpacking deliveries, and labelling stock
- Help with the serving of food and beverages
- Assist in the preparation of dietary restricted meals under the guidance of management
- Actively contribute new ideas into the kitchen to ensure we continue to deliver a quality service

Working Hours and Salary
This role is for 37.5 hours a week, working 34 weeks per year (term time). The full-time equivalent annual salary is £16,770-£22,308, dependent on skills and experience. The actual salary for this role, pro rata, will be in the range of £7,898 - £16,346, based on the hours of the role, skills, and experience.
