About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Business Partner - Finance to join our team at Yorkshire Building Society Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our project teams and providing insightful financial analysis and advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted business partner for project teams, providing financial input and guidance to inform and enable successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with sponsors, project managers, and portfolio delivery managers to provide financial input and support.
  • Be a commercial thinker, providing constructive challenge and working with project managers to flag risks and mitigate them.
  • Engage with stakeholders and finance teams, driving improvement, improving forecasting, and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes.

About You

  • You will be a proven finance business partner with great project finance experience and the ability to identify positive change and process improvements.
  • An accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent with prior relevant experience is required.
  • You will be analytical, organised, and experienced in reviewing, managing, and developing new financial and analytical models, as well as identifying risks and implications.
  • You will thrive in a varied role, working across a wide range of projects, and enjoy a dynamic and ever-changing workload.

What We Offer

  • 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy up to a further 5 days.
  • An on-target bonus of 7% of eligible pay (with the opportunity to earn up to a maximum of 15%).
