At Kautec Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role involves carrying out inspections on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles, refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, and light commercials.

Job Description
  • Routine maintenance and preventative work
  • MOT preparation and scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
  • 6 or 8 weekly inspections, correction of running defects, chassis and fabrication work, hydraulics and pneumatics, and electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics and be able to demonstrate their skills in a fast-paced workshop environment.
