Job Title: Vehicle Technician Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician Specialist to join our team at Royal Mail Group in Plymouth Workshop. As a key member of our commercial vehicle maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on light and heavy goods vehicles.
- Use personal toolkit and specialist tooling to undertake repairs.
- Work on a flexible shift rota to meet service demands.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified mechanic with IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
- Proven experience working on a wide range of vehicles.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- High working standards and ability to work flexibly.
What We Offer:
- Estimated salary: £38,114 per annum.
- Additional weekend supplement on Saturday (£50 per shift).
- Welcome bonus of £1,500 (subject to terms and conditions).
- 22.5 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays) and option to purchase more.
