We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for international trade and finance to join our dynamic team as a Trade Finance Officer. Based in London, this is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong presence in our London office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing Trade Finance Transactions: Handle the end-to-end processing of documentary credits, letters of credit (LCs), and guarantees, ensuring compliance with international standards (UCP 600, URDG, etc.).
  • Risk Management: Analyse and assess the creditworthiness of counterparties, issuing banks, and countries to mitigate potential trade-related risks.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as the point of contact for clients, resolving queries and providing expert guidance on trade finance products and services.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Liaise with relationship managers, compliance, and credit risk teams to ensure smooth and efficient processing of trade finance deals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with global trade finance regulations, sanctions, and anti-money laundering (AML) policies, ensuring that all transactions are compliant.
  • Transaction Reporting and Monitoring: Ensure accurate reporting of trade finance activities and monitor transaction progress, ensuring timely execution of client requests.

Proven experience in trade finance operations (letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, etc.). Familiarity with UCP 600, URDG, and other relevant trade finance guidelines.
