About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that supports vulnerable students in a primary school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will contribute to a high-quality education programme that makes a positive impact on the lives of young people.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver a curriculum that promotes academic and personal growth, while also implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce exclusions.

  • Develop and implement Behaviour Management Plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver teaching activities.
Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good standard of education, with Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
  • Experience of working with children with complex needs, such as EAL, SEN, speech and language difficulties.
  • Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience. The contract is permanent, term-time only (41 weeks). We also offer opportunities for professional development and training.
