Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantRole Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team at a reputable C of E Primary School in Fulham. The successful candidate will be working within Reception, providing 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND and Complex Needs.

The pupil is Autistic and non-verbal, requiring support in regulating their emotions. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with children who have special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Provide 1:1 support to the pupil with SEND and Complex Needs
  • Help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Support the pupil in developing their social and emotional skills
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the pupil's needs are met
