Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Boston Hale. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for providing a customer-focused professional procurement service to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex procurement matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement tender and procurement specifications, including frameworks, to ensure compliance with UK Public Sector procurement legislation and framework.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in targeted reviews to improve procurement practices and develop mechanisms to monitor and improve the performance of suppliers.
  • Ensure all contracts are up-to-date and compliant with Terms and Conditions.
  • Monitor the performance of existing contracts and complete statutory returns as required.
  • Act as the main point of contact for procurement processes and systems, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with internal and external customers on behalf of the function.

Requirements:

  • MCIPS qualified or working towards it.
  • Previous experience of tendering processes, including public sector requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement legislation and framework.
