Job Summary

The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth is seeking a skilled Hand Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our Hand Therapy team, you will work closely with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients with complex orthopedic and plastic surgery conditions, using advanced clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based knowledge.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide expert hand therapy splinting and post-operative wound care, utilizing advanced skills and knowledge to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols, ensuring best practice and high-quality care.

Person Specification

  • BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent.
