Job Opportunity: Junior Estimating Professional

Job Overview:

This role involves preparing tender packages, reviewing documentation, providing take-offs, and conducting sub-contractor tendering and quote comparisons. A successful candidate will also contribute to cost planning, evaluating risk and opportunity levels, and participating in tender adjudications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage tender packages
  • Review tender documentation, including preliminary documents and contracts
  • Conduct site visits as needed
  • Provide full take-offs and produce BoQs
  • Manage sub-contractor tendering and quote comparisons
  • Support cost planning and risk assessment
  • Participate in tender adjudications

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this position, you should possess:

  • A keen interest in construction
  • A recent or upcoming construction or quantity surveying qualification
