Salesforce is a leader in cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, and as a Data Cloud Innovation Lead, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and growth within our Data Cloud division.

About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional technical expert who can lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data cloud solutions. You'll collaborate closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-value solutions that drive business growth and customer success.

Your primary focus will be on understanding our customers' complex business challenges and developing tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. This may involve working with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless integration and effective communication of our offerings.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale implementations to large-scale transformations. You'll also contribute to the development of our product roadmap, providing valuable feedback and insights that inform our strategic decisions.

To succeed in this position, you'll need to possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, including data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms. Strong verbal and presentation skills are essential, as you'll be communicating complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve Business Problems - Analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Drive Innovation & Customer Adoption - Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions and drive adoption of our data cloud solutions.
  • Connect the 'Art of the Possible' - Work with our solutions engineers to deliver software demonstrations, rapid prototyping, and storytelling to showcase the potential of our data cloud solutions.
  • Cross-Platform Collaboration - Develop solutions that integrate seamlessly across multiple technology landscapes, including CRM, modern data stack, analytics, and AI.
  • Provide Technical Domain Expertise - Share your expertise in data governance, security, and other technical capabilities to support our customers' successful implementation of our data cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in solutions engineering/solutions architecture/technical consulting, ideally in the B2B SaaS space, particularly cloud data platforms.
  • Strong verbal and presentation abilities, capable of effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding and ability to articulate the relationship between data and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Demonstrable ability to shift clients to alternative solutions when initial solutions are not a fit, with examples to support this.
  • Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, cloud technology, business intelligence, and CRM products.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Implementation or sales experience in Salesforce Data Cloud.
