The Family Support and Protection Group Manager will oversee the Family Support and Protection Service, ensuring the effective delivery of support to families and children in need. This role will also provide strategic leadership to the Children with Disabilities Service, working closely with the Head of Service to drive improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Family Support and Protection Service, ensuring high-quality support to families and children.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Children with Disabilities Service, driving improvement and innovation.
- Chair funding panels across Health and Social Care, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Support key initiatives identified within the Improvement plan, working closely with the SEND improvement board.
- Oversee the Disabled Children's Outreach Service, Short breaks Coordinator, and Family Link Service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least five years' experience as an operational team manager.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Children's Social Care Improvement Plan and the SEND framework.
