Position Summary
- Technical expert with proven experience of handling a portfolio of claims, demonstrating technical excellence in the investigation and handling of complex instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- A desire to accept responsibility and accountability for the conduct of allocated cases to conclusion, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality services.
- A team player with strong communication and correspondence skills, able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- To manage a diverse portfolio of medical malpractice and casualty claims.
- The role can be home or office based, with occasional UK and international travel required, and occasional overnight stays may be necessary.
Functional Knowledge
- Requisite knowledge and understanding of regulatory procedures and industry initiatives.
- Requisite knowledge of the insurance market and its complexities.
- Requisite technical knowledge within the adjusting arena, including relevant laws and regulations.
- Understanding of client service level agreement (SLA) compliance, productivity, and quality requirements.
- Proven proficient working knowledge of relevant legal principles, statutes, and case law.
General Background, Experience & Professional Qualifications
- Relevant professional qualifications and certifications in claims adjusting or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling complex claims, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
