We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Safety Expert to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe design and development of our products.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in product safety to lead and support the development of safety-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the development of safety strategies and requirements for our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into all aspects of product development.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide safety recommendations to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including design safety justifications and safety case reports.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety training programs for engineers and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics).
  • Extensive experience in product safety, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

What We Offer:

In addition to the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
