Job Title: Climate Modeling Expert

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled expert in climate modeling to join the FETCH4 team. As a Climate Modeling Expert, you will be responsible for developing and running climate models to simulate the methane cycle.

FETCH4 is a collaborative project between the University of Washington and the University of Rochester. We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in atmospheric science, computational mathematics, or computer science to contribute to this ambitious project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing new climate models to simulate the methane cycle.
  2. Collaborating with the FETCH4 team to advance our understanding of the methane cycle.
  3. Presenting research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A PhD in a relevant field or at least three years of relevant research experience.
  • Expertise in atmospheric science, computational mathematics, or computer science.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
