Job Title: Year 2 Primary Teacher

Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in Thornton-Cleveleys. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a qualified teacher who is passionate about working with children in Key Stage 1 and dedicated to providing high-quality, engaging, and inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum, ensuring each child can reach their full potential.
  • Use a range of assessment tools to monitor and track pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans that address key areas of learning, including phonics, reading, writing, mathematics, and social development.
  • Differentiate instruction to support individual learning needs and abilities, including children with additional needs or those requiring additional challenge.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupils' progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including TAs and support staff, to ensure all pupils have the best possible learning experience.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience (estimated £30,000 - £45,000 per year)
