Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary school near Reigate.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children aged 4-11 with mild to severe learning difficulties in a Mainstream Primary Setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Meet the individual needs of students through a practical approach
  • Develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ensure the safeguarding of students
  • Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and compassionate approach to supporting students
  • Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups with students
  • Right to work in the UK (no Visa sponsorship)
