Job Title: Special Needs Education Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Education Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Redhill. As a Special Needs Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Learning Difficulties, including Autism, and Speech, Language & Communication needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support children with Learning Difficulties in a Primary school setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional and social support to children with Learning Difficulties
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Monitor and record student progress

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Special Needs Education
  • Ability to work with children with Learning Difficulties, including Autism, and Speech, Language & Communication needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check
