Head of Data Analytics and Insights

Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data Analytics and Insights to join their team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in harnessing the power of data to drive business success.

The Role:
  1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the business analysis team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Collect and analyse data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  3. Ensure timely delivery of all operational and strategic MI, including operational reporting, sales reporting, marketing reporting, business and competitive reporting, and ad hoc business intelligence reporting.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business, product, and delivery objectives and drive alignment between their strategies and analysis activities.
  5. Lead a small team of Decision Support Analysts to support stakeholders in growing an effective business analysis capability.
  6. Provide commercial modelling to support new business propositions and renegotiate existing contracts.
  7. Oversee the gathering and documentation of business requirements for new projects and initiatives.
  8. Utilise data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and recommend strategies to drive business growth.
  9. Manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience in business analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  3. Proven track record of delivering business value through data analysis and insights.
  4. Technical expertise in SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
  5. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
