SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support to students with complex needs in the Broadland District.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting Students
- Assist students with SEN in their educational and personal development.
Collaborating with Teachers
- Work with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Fostering a Supportive Environment
- Creat a supportive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence.
Recording Student Progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience in a mainstream school.
- Level 3 qualification is desirable.
Key Skills
- Passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- SEN experience is essential.
