We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Broadland District. As an experienced professional, you will provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEN in a mainstream school.
  • A Level 3 qualification is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • SEN experience is essential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
