At We Manage Jobs (WMJobs), we are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Fire Protection Specialists. This is a rewarding role that requires courage, a desire to serve the community, and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team. As an on-call firefighter, you will be part of a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds, including stay-at-home parents, self-employed business owners, shop workers, and tradespeople.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 per annum, with excellent rates of pay for training and emergency call-outs, plus an annual retaining fee. You must live or work within five minutes of an on-call fire station, be over 18 years old, and be physically fit. Don't worry if you're not already fit; we will provide training to support you in this area.

This role involves responding to emergencies such as floods, fires, road traffic collisions, and chemical spills. As a member of our team, you will receive comprehensive training, which includes a two-week initial training course and subsequent evening training sessions. Your commitment to ongoing training and development is essential to ensuring you remain up-to-date and confident in your role.
