We are seeking Firefighting Professionals to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). In this role, you will provide fire cover at 22 stations across Shropshire, responding to emergencies such as floods, fires, road traffic collisions, and chemical spills.
As a Firefighter, your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to emergency calls within 5 minutes of receiving notification
- Providing life-saving interventions and firefighting services
- Maintaining a high level of physical fitness to perform duties safely and effectively
The ideal candidate will be over 18 years old, live or work within 5 minutes of an on-call fire station, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Our team comes from diverse backgrounds, united by a strong sense of community spirit and a commitment to protecting the public.
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a competitive pension scheme, and a comprehensive health and wellbeing package.
