We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of our Specialist Cutting Tools Companies, Peter Campbell Sales. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving profitability, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage the daily operations of the business, including internal and external sales, finance, technical, logistics, and operations teams.
- Set and monitor business priorities and objectives, delegating ownership and ensuring alignment with budgets.
- Collaborate with leadership teams across Rubix Cutting & Machining Specialist Businesses, Rubix Category Management, and core suppliers to deliver a market-leading customer proposition.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive profitable growth and customer retention.
- Establish, review, and improve operational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the RUBIX business, adopting best practices and leveraging cross-selling opportunities for customers.
- Take responsibility for local communication plans and complete monthly 1-to-1 reviews with direct reports.
- Drive the training agenda across all levels of the company, with support from RUBIX HR.
- Take responsibility for succession planning across the company, developing and supporting team members in their career ambitions and aims.
- Support in all HR matters.
- Results-oriented with experience of improving profitability.
- Strong customer focus, technically, commercially, and operationally.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
