Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at Gü Desserts. As a key member of our factory operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our food manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product quality assurance and control to ensure all products produced on site meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and legal compliance.
- Lead compliance review meetings and report on emerging trends to identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement clear action plans to drive excellence in quality and compliance, including customer complaints, internal and external non-conformance reports, pest control, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audit results.
- Collaborate with Shift Production Managers and Maintenance Manager to resolve daily issues and develop effective solutions to drive compliance.
- Create development plans for Process Controllers (PCs) to support succession planning and team engagement.
- Oversee Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure food safety is maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Full Clean Driving Licence required for the role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment with regular movement between ambient and cold environments.
- Strong technical background and proven experience in a factory-facing Quality Manager role.
- Experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, and other food quality standards.
- Computer literacy with a working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and SAP.
