An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6/Band 7 Dietitian to join our dynamic team at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH). The Dietetic Department is part of the Therapies group, working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech & Language Therapists. We are the first Nutrition & Dietetic Department in London to commence seven-day services.
Main DutiesAs a Highly Specialist Dietitian for Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing expert care to the critical care services, including the Trust Nutrition team. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide an excellent service, including developing and updating policies and procedures. You will also participate in research and audit within critical care and the wider Dietetic Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to critical care services, including the Trust Nutrition team.
- Develop and update policies and procedures.
- Participate in research and audit within critical care and the wider Dietetic Service.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide an excellent service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BSc in Dietetics or equivalent.
- State Registered Dietitian with HPC.
- BDA member.
- BDA member of specialist group, critical care group network.
It would be beneficial if you have:
- Non-medical prescribing qualification registered with HCPC BDA.
- Postgraduate diploma in advanced dietetic practice or equivalent in BDA postgraduate courses equivalent to Master's degree.
