We are recruiting for a Fitness Class Instructor who will deliver high-quality classes and inspire our customers to achieve their fitness goals.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, designing and delivering engaging classes, and ensuring the needs and abilities of our customers are catered for.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering classes according to the programme timetable and ensuring classes commence at the designated times
  • Providing options and realistic goals that take individual customers' needs and abilities into account
  • Collecting and managing class bookings effectively and in line with Fusion's class booking process
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of sessions, including equipment set-up and take-down
  • Assisting in the development of safe and effective programming through innovative ideas and actions
  • Championing health and safety policy and procedure
  • Undertaking administrative tasks associated with the position
  • Maintaining own mandatory qualifications, licensing, and CPD/training requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • REPS/CIMSPA (Fitness/Exercise to Music) level 2 qualified and registered
  • Relevant and specific qualification for your chosen discipline
  • Experience of delivering classes in a comparable role
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and the ability to exercise these in the workplace
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback
  • The ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their goals
  • Good numerical and written skills
  • Ability to deliver first-class customer service to a diverse client base
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of our customers
