About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to work in one of our lovely primary schools. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food preparation and service to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic food preparation and cooking
- Cleaning duties within the kitchen/dining area
- Health & safety compliance
- Food service to students & staff
- Friendly and polite customer service
- Basic IT skills
What We Ask From You:
- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
- Team player
- Food hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
