About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 night driver to join our team at Recruit A Driver. As a Class 2 night driver, you will be responsible for driving refrigerated vehicles across the North East and York region, delivering leading coffee chain store products to customer premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Class 2 refrigerated vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Unload vehicles at customer premises, ensuring products are delivered in good condition
  • Deliver products to stores in the North East and York region, using hand-held terminals for tracking and documentation
  • Maintain vehicles to company standards, reporting any defects or issues
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safe operation

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 UK license with at least 12 months' experience
  • Recent experience driving a Class 2 vehicle (ideally within the last 6 months)
  • No more than 6 points on your license for minor offenses
  • In-date Digital Tachograph Card and up-to-date CPC Qualification Card

Working Arrangements:

  • 16:00 pm start times
  • 4 on 4 off rota

What We Offer:

A competitive hourly rate of £16.50, with breaks paid. This is a temp to perm placement, offering a stable and secure work environment.
