Job Title: Midwifery Care Professional

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum pro rata

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide holistic midwifery care to women and their families in the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods. As a Community Midwife Specialist, you will work in a variety of settings, including community hubs and homes, providing individualized care and support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To assess, implement, and evaluate programs of antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and neonatal care for women and babies in line with current evidence and Trust policies.
  • Provide advice, knowledge, and counseling to women and their partners regarding all aspects of antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Act as an advocate for women and babies receiving maternity care.
  • Demonstrate appropriate behavior/attitude when dealing with service users and colleagues, acting as a professional role model.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Midwife - NMC
  • Practising Midwife
  • Maintained an up-to-date professional portfolio
  • Training in obstetric emergencies
  • Evidence of further study and development of professional and academic skills
