Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C&I Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will provide technical support to Operations & Maintenance teams for offshore assets, focusing on control and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to Operations & Maintenance teams for offshore assets
  • Ensure application of company procedures and policies
  • Support and deliver engineering improvement plans
  • Input to and management of Production loss and root cause analysis
  • Provide functional support to Offshore Operations/Maintenance Leads and Lead technicians
  • Provide technical support to a level of TA2 to the installations as directed by the Maintenance Manager
  • Provide guidance and support to Maintenance, repair and replacement strategies for instrument and control systems, focusing on obsolescence
  • Instrument and Control technical aspects of company Management of Engineering Change process
  • Instrument Focal Point contact for 3rd party vendor support in relation to asset requirements
  • Asset C&I Focal point for CAPEX related activities ensuring asset requirements deliver value
  • Provide expert advice within the field of equipment selection, Performance and Maintenance/Operational enhancements considering obsolescence
  • Troubleshooting and technical resolution of complex plant instrument issues, collaborating with offshore and onshore personnel
  • Develop scopes of work and raise POs for specialist activities executed by 3rd party contractors and vendors
Requirements

We are looking for a strong experience in Operations & Maintenance support role for an oil & gas Operator. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of control and instrumentation systems and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
