About the Role

As a Project Lead at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for managing Fixed Fire protection/Fire Detection projects on military vessels for Navy's worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding and interpreting client's technical specifications and commercial documentation.
  • Organizing any deliverable packages.
  • Consulting with design manager and requesting resourcing based on contract deliverables.
  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers and procurement of equipment.
  • Organizing of goods to be shipped and generation of all relevant shipping documentation.
  • Consulting with project team on a daily basis.
  • Managing the contract/project plan (MS Project).
  • Consulting directly with the customer and being the main point of contract.
  • Financially responsible for projects / Developing progress and financial reports for the Tyco management team; Revenue/Billing Forecasts, Managing Contract cost Control (Cost to Complete Sheet), Attending internal contract review meetings monthly.
  • Ensuring that projects are brought to conclusion on time within budget and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Managing the contract/project plan (MS Project).
