Class 1 Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering loads to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety guidelines.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring secure transportation of goods.
- Deliver goods to clients, interacting with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Communicate with the transport team to coordinate deliveries and collections.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
- Be in possession of a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Have experience in delivering loads to client sites, preferably in a similar industry.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a high level of satisfaction.
- Be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Have a strong geographical knowledge, with the ability to navigate various routes.
- Be physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Competitive hourly rate of £17.58ph.
- Additional £2.75ph for hours worked between 21:00 and 04:00.
