The Gregory Group is seeking a skilled and flexible Class 1 Casual Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering loads to various businesses, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from businesses
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring secure transportation of goods
  • Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone to provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations
  • Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience in delivering loads to client sites is advantageous
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual
  • Have good geographical knowledge
  • Be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
