Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Alcedo Care. As a Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing daily nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring that all food is stored, prepared, and served in a safe and hygienic manner.

• Plan and prepare daily menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents.
• Prepare meals that are appetizing, visually appealing, and within budget.
• Monitor food stocks and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of food orders and inventory.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and service.
• Implement and maintain health and safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including regular deep cleaning.

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff.
