About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Eric Morecambe House in Morecambe, Lancashire. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residents' living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the location is clean, pleasant, and safe for customers in either their home environment or communal areas.
  • Ensure that cleaning products are used effectively, with instructions and health and safety procedures being followed at all times.
  • Report to the Location Manager and work collaboratively with the team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of equipment and cleaning products.
  • Understand and adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies, as well as safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and happiness of our residents by providing a clean and comfortable living environment.

Requirements

  • Customer service NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge is desirable.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively with cleaning products.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Health and safety awareness, including COSHH.
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Well-organized with good time management skills.
