About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at The Part-Time Finance People. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance to our clients in Manchester, helping them to streamline their accounting processes and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer invoicing and sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Implement effective credit control and debtor reporting to directors
  • Oversee supplier invoices and purchase ledger management, ensuring efficient cash flow
  • Draft payment runs for approval, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Conduct supplier reconciliations and bank postings, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Manage expense and credit card management, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Prepare VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
  • Assist with payroll and pension administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasts, providing valuable insights to business owners

Requirements:
