We are seeking an enterprising, proactive Senior Bookkeeper to take a lead role in overseeing our ever-expanding client accounts for payments, supporting with all internal bookkeeping functions, ensuring our practices are as efficient and accurate as they can be.

You will be responsible for managing your own time and workload, keeping on top of any accounts queries from our consultants, working alongside the wider support team to ensure we provide exceptional client service every time.

**Your new role**
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including financial statements preparation, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable management.
- Ensuring our payment systems and monthly subscriptions are reconciled regularly and liaising with clients regarding queries where necessary.
- Working alongside the senior management team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practises.
- Ensure clear professional communication in all correspondence with clients and internal teams.
- Stay up to date with relevant legislation and accounting standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, mentoring other members of staff where possible.
- Cashflow management, able to manage multiple sources of income simultaneously.
- Producing a weekly report to share with the senior management team.

**What you will need**
- Ideally you will be AAT qualified, or studying towards your ACCA qualification.
- Experience in preparation of management accounts.
- Experience working with a start-up or small business environment.
- Experience on cloud based systems such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks, etc.
- A confident communicator, able to work well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the UK healthcare sector would be beneficial.
- Highly motivated, a team player with an entrepreneurial work ethos.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and team building skills.
- Strong commercial business acumen - a consummate professional with the passion to deliver excellent service every time.
- A down-to-earth, friendly team player.
