CNC Machine Setter

As a CNC Setter/Operator at Recra Consulting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality parts. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Setting up CNC Machines: Prepare, load, and secure materials and tools required for machining operations.
- Operating CNC Machines: Run and monitor CNC machines, adjusting settings as needed to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings: Understand and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to set up machines and produce parts to specifications.
- Programming CNC Machines: Input program parameters, commands, and tooling offsets into the machine controls to execute machining operations.
- Conducting Quality Checks: Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or defects, performing routine maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal condition.
- Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborating with Team Members: Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and engineers to coordinate production schedules and address any issues that arise during machining processes.
- Documenting Work: Keep detailed records of production activities, including material usage, machine settings, and quality inspection results.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, alternating hours - 6am-2:30pm / 2pm-10:30pm
