About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and conducting quality checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting Up CNC Machines: Prepare, load, and secure materials and tools required for machining operations.
  • Operating CNC Machines: Run and monitor CNC machines, adjusting settings as needed to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings: Understand and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to set up machines and produce parts to specifications.
  • Programming CNC Machines: Input program parameters, commands, and tooling offsets into the machine controls to execute machining operations.
  • Conducting Quality Checks: Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or defects, performing routine maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal condition.
  • Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and engineers to coordinate production schedules and address any issues that arise during machining processes.
  • Documenting Work: Keep detailed records of production activities, including material usage, machine settings, and quality inspection results.
Work Schedule

The successful candidate will work on an alternating shift schedule, Monday to Friday, with hours alternating between 6am-2:30pm and 2pm-10:30pm.
