Compassionate Care Assistant

This Compassionate Care Assistant position requires an empathetic individual who can provide emotional support to those in need. Our organisation is dedicated to empowering individuals with learning disabilities, enduring mental ill health, autism, and other complex needs. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting service users to lead a full and active life, considering their assessed needs and individual support and care plans.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour and flexible working hours, including full-time or part-time contracts, as well as Bank shifts. Our organisation is committed to providing continuous learning and development opportunities, including access to bespoke training, Apprenticeships in Health & Social Care, and Business and Leadership & Management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, respecting their wishes and choices.
- Manage the risk of harm or injury to service users by taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them from abuse.
- Support service users to participate in chosen social activities and services in their community, manage their finances and medication responsibly, help with practical tasks around the home, and respectfully support with personal care, hygiene, and healthcare.
- $12000£12.00 per hour
- Flexible working hours, including full-time or part-time contracts, as well as Bank shifts.
