About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Pro-Finance team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with fluent Hindi language skills and experience working in India or with Indian businesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support, technical leadership, and capacity building to drive growth across the India market. This includes ensuring financial management, governance, and compliance are robust, as well as supporting the Country Director and Director of Operations in developing strategic decisions and sound financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to the India leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business decisions.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to drive business growth.
  • Implement process improvements and standardisation across the finance function.
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes and implement recommendations and risk mitigation.
  • Train and induct India region team members in corporate financial management and systems compliance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with fluent Hindi language skills.
  • Commercial, retail, sales, stock and inventory accounting experience.
  • Experience working in India or with Indian businesses.
  • Experience with Tally and SUN accounts, Vision XL and advanced Excel.
  • Experience within global organisations.
  • First-class business partnering and experience supporting senior decision making.
  • Team leadership experience, including building capacity within in-country teams.
  • Experience working in developing markets.
  • Experience building finance functions, policies, procedures and systems during transformation and change.

Salary: £58,000 per annum.
